Situation

In the vast landscape of the USA academic market, securing funding is crucial for researchers, opening doors for their field of interest and research.

Challenge

However, researchers face a daunting task of sifting through more than 23,000 funding options spread across over 13,000 organizations. The complexity of fragmented data makes it challenging to stay updated on opportunities and make informed decisions. At larger academic institutions, funding experts manually curate opportunities for researchers.

Solution

To address these challenges, we embarked on a journey to create a more transparent funding ecosystem. We developed an MVP platform that offers researchers the ability to easily access the latest opportunities with comprehensive details. Our platform also empowers users to search across various funding organizations, streamlining the process of finding the right funding opportunities.

Outcome

  • A successful launch of the MVP platform, providing researchers with a centralized hub for discovering and tracking funding opportunities.

  • Moreover, the insights gained from this project laid the groundwork for the development of three new products, further improving the landscape of research funding.
